HDD Tuning

Modern hard disk drives allow their owners to adjust the noise level, performance, temperature, and power consumption independently. During the display of tuning form, current parameters of the HDD with its magnetic heads beginning to a position on casual tracks are displayed demonstrating the current noise level. All changes to controls in the form take effect immediately. At the form closing, the analysis of velocity characteristics of the hard drives parameters of which were changed is performed. When the acoustic noise management that was previously switched off is switched on, the value of the parameter is set in the position recommended by the manufacturer while the advanced power-saving is set in the middle position.
